When you feel God is not acting quickly enough – don’t act – stop and wait for further instructions.  You don’t know the whole plan.  Wait for revelation as he unrolls it one step at a time.  His perfect plan will unfold “in the fullness of time” –His, not yours.

I don’t know about you but sometimes I feel like I don’t know where I am going.  I am just pumping my legs with all my might on the treadmill of life and not going anywhere and not understanding why I am doing what I am doing.  I get frustrated with myself and I get frustrated with God.  Well, that’s what happens when we walk by feeling and by not faith.  But, if we are in faith we don’t need to be running here and there with all of our might.  When we are truly in faith, we get in sync with the Spirit and flow in the direction we are being led and we don’t question the direction or wonder about the outcome.  We just flow . . . knowing and trusting His perfect plan.  Just remember feeling causes us to flounder in fear and frustration; faith lets us flow with assurance.

Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God has a plan for us.  He has a plan for our peace and a future with a good end.  My prayer for you today is that you seek God to know what HIS plan is for you and step into destiny. 

God has a good plan, a predestined plan for each and every one of us.  Let God lead and refuse to let the enemy use trials to move you away from the plan.  The plan doesn’t always look like a plan when viewed through human eyes.  If He says He has a plan—He has a plan.  Do not allow trials, impatience, or frustration lead you away from God’s plan.  Those things are only demonic illusions sent to derail you—to cause you to miss God.  Take those things (and people) sent for evil and turn them into destiny-shapers.  Use them to strengthen and embolden your inner man. 

We all miss the mark sometimes.  We all experience frustration, disappointment, and grow weary in waiting.  But continue to wait in faith.  I can tell you of countless times that I misread circumstances, grew impatient, and tried to help God move the plan along.  But in all of the messes I have made, it’s good to know that God has not changed His mind and He will get me to where He wants me to go and do what He created me to do.  And for you, He will do the same. 

Be encouraged today.  Enjoy the present and look with faith and expectancy for the good plan God has for you future.

“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.”  – James 5:16

Which number are you?  This is a call for self-examination.  James Bond was agent 007, a keeper of secrets- -that’s what made him a secret agent, his ability to keep secrets.  The information operator can be reached at 4-1-1.  She is there to give out information to the person on the other end of the line—that’s her job.

Sadly and often, I hear sisters talk about how they have confided deeply personal information to another sister only to have their confidences breached.  When another sister takes you into her confidence she should be able to trust you to safeguard the secrets of her heart and become a source for agreement in prayer for her healing.  What she does not deserve is to get an information operator uploading her intimate information only to turn around and download it into the rumor mill.

The essence of fellowship is the sharing of each other’s troubles and  problems.  When a sister feels secure enough to confess her weaknesses, faults, and secrets to you, it is your sacred duty to pray for her and protect her shared  intimacies.  Your role in the sisterhood with regards to matters of the heart is to be a “secret agent” who prays with her so that healing and transformation can come into her situation.  The next time you are honored with the opportunity to share in the burdens of another sister,  I pray you stop to consider what your number is.  Is it 007 or 4-1-1.  If you know you are a 007, then you will know what the right thing to do is.  If you are a 4-1-1, then there is something you need to confess.

We all have dreams that have planted in our hearts.  It can be devastating when our dreams are attacked, or when we allow Dream Killers to wound our confidence to the point that we think we cannot run the race to the finish.  Dream Killers are deceptive and they lurk in the people that are close to our hearts.  They even come right in, take a seat and take up residence in our own thoughts.  They are what I call “heart whisperers” because they are particularly crafty at whispering thoughts of defeat directly into hearts.  Dream Killers have a single purpose—to kill your divine purpose and calling.  They come to discourage, distract, and disable.  They roam to and fro seeking to destroy God-given dreams.

What do you do?  You fight.  You have been given weapons of warfare.  You have a spiritual arsenal in the Word of God.  Speak the Word to the Dream Killers in godly confidence knowing that the Word will perform what you send it to do and cannot return void.  Like David, you stand and face those who come to steal, kill, and destroy your dreams head on.  Like David, load your sling (faith) with a pebble (the Word), take aim, and slay the Dream Killers where they stand. 

• Do not allow thieves  to take what God has given you
• Guard your dreams. Dreams cannot be shared with everybody.  Exercise discernment and know who will support you or help to restore you if life has crashed down on your dreams.
• Your victory is in your mouth.  Speak the Word over your dreams and keep them alive until God brings to the finish what he has started in you.
